The Spring Semester 2017 Syllabus is now available. Just click on this blogpost and you will be able to view it. Review it and note any questions you might have. I will address them in class next week. See you then. We are nearing the end of a wonderful semester. But before we say farewell, we will have one more quiz, one more unit test and then the final exam. Please hold onto your guided notes from class on Exponentials and Logarithms. Your assessment will be next Wednesday. Your Final Exam is scheduled for the last day of school but we will have time to review prior to that day. So long for now.....
We are moving into graphing absolute value functions, step and piecewise functions. Check out the link below:

I am attaching a video below that might be helpful when discussing rational root theorem and imaginary factors So, I wanted to put the notes for Long and Synthetic Division on the blog just in case you need to refer back to them as you complete the homework assigned on Friday. I foresee a quiz for you on Wednesday on Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing (Long, Synthetic, Polynomial by Monomial, etc). This way you are able to stop by Tues morning or afternoon for extra help before the quiz. This week we are moving into Polynomial operations. We will review classifying, adding and subtracting polynomials but we will then move into Long Division of Polynomials and Binomial Expansion. To get your mind thinking I will ask this question: What is Pascal's Triangle and how can it be useful in predicting terms when multiplying polynomials? We will also move into synthetic division before we begin talking about functions, composition of functions, and inverse functions. See you next week!
