Edited Post: I just noticed an error in the review. The Guided Practice and the Independent Practice questions for section 1.3 Reflections are identical. Therefore, the questions for the Independent Practice for that section will be those shown above. Attached you will see the Guided Notes for the Unit 1 Booklet that you will use to help keep your Geometry A skills sharp. You will complete a homework quiz based on the independent practice questions from this booklet. The quiz will be January 23rd (unless otherwise notified) for the Unit 1 Review Booklet. I will take any questions you have regarding the Unit 1 Review before lunch each day. It is your responsibility to pace yourself and make sure that you complete each page and the Independent Practice problems by January 23rd.

Attached you will find terms and definitions for the Circles Unit. If you were absent from class on the first day, you will need to view and copy the definitions and draw the diagrams in your booklet, then study the terms as we make our way through the unit. Our first Quiz will be next week and will include identifying vocabulary
If you would like additional resources for help with graphing quadratic functions see the link below:
http://www.virtualnerd.com/algebra-2/all This week we will begin to use coordinates to prove geometric shapes. You will review the properties of Quadrilaterals before we begin. We will also learn how to partition a line segment. If you have graph paper, this would be a great time to bring it to class with you. See you soon
I placed a link to a video that walks you through Converting from general form to standard form. I need you to also think about how you would have to convert back to general form. We will review it on Monday.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzlY5wmyUvM This is the lesson on finding the equations of circles. Remember you will have your Unit 1 Assessment this week so tomorrow we will talk about cross sections and then review. Unit 2 begins to make connections between algebra and geometry. You will use coordinates to prove properties about geometric shapes so you will need to remember some of the properties that you learned before. I have attached the properties of quadrilaterals below. Take a look at them as we move through this next unit.
